Hart House Chess Club

The Hart House Chess Club is the longest existing chess club in Canada with an uninterrupted history of 118 years. 

The logo was designed to express a modern feel that still gives respect to its rich history. An elegant serifed typeface complimented with a crisp sans serif typeface is combined with the simple silhouette of a rook to pull this logo together in perfect balance.
