Applied Health Science Orientation 2012

The 2012 Applied Health Sciences First-Year Orientation week theme was: “Applied Health Sciences Travels the World!”

Given only the theme and the required text content, the logo combined all requirements in a clean and playful badge-like logo. Ahssie, the Applied Health Science kangaroo mascot was integrated into the logo. Inspiration was drawn from Carmen Sandiego and Around the World in 80 Days.

The design was used on t-shirts worn by over 150 students and leaders during Waterloo’s 2012 Orientation Week. The logo was also placed on leader sweatshirts, water bottles and frisbees for the traditional “Earn Your Frisbee” event.
